WEDNESDAY 14th JULY. CHERCOS; SPAIN

I´ve been trying desperately to update my website, but it ain´t easy. This morning, I took a two and a half hour bus ride to Almeria to get to an internet cafe. The first one was closed down, the second had no connection, the third was closed down, and the fourth won´t let me use my laptop. Therefore, no photos, no stories. Sorry. I tried.
I´m working hard renovating a 150 year old stone farmhouse in Chercos, an hour or so from Almeria, Spain. Until I find decent internet access, my updates will just be short notes on this page. Thanks for all your emails, and thanks to all the people who have reserved copies of my upcoming book "Everywhere but Missouri, mate!". If you haven´t reserved a copy yet, don´t miss out! Follow the links from my journal page.
Gotta go, almost time for the long bus ride back to Chercos.
